Readiness platform

Know who's ready.
Right now.

The operational readiness platform for volunteer emergency services. Availability, currency, equipment and incidents — one live picture an officer-in-charge can read at a glance, at 3am, in the rain.

Current / Ready Expiring Lapsed Standby / Off watch

Watch the board: a responder's currency slips to expiring, then a second crew is tasked to the call-out. No refresh — the board is the live state of the unit.

The readiness problem

When a call comes in, the question is never "how many volunteers do we have". It's who can go — right now.

Availability lives in group chats. Currency lives in a spreadsheet that's three weeks old. Who's on leave is in someone's head. The officer-in-charge stitches it together under pressure — and tasks a crew member whose first-aid cert lapsed last month.

Currency goes stale silently

Qualifications expire with no warning. Nobody knows until a crew is tasked who shouldn't be.

Availability is guesswork

On-call, on leave, off-area — scattered across chats and memory, never in one place.

Compliance is a fire drill

Audits mean weeks of chasing paper across units that all do it differently.

How it works

The field keeps the board honest.

No double entry, no chasing. The people doing the work update their own state — Standby turns it into one operational picture.

01

The field updates itself

Availability, incident hours, equipment inspections, scene voice-notes and post-exercise reports — filed from the crew's own phones, between jobs, on the native app.

02

Standby keeps the picture current

Currency recalculates from logged hours. Approved leave, defect status and live call-outs flow straight onto the readiness board — no double entry, no refresh.

03

Officers task with confidence

One glance shows who is ready, current and available — and lapsed currency is blocked from tasking, not just flagged.

The platform

Every workflow, one operational picture.

Eight modules, one login. Each feeds the readiness board — field returns from volunteers update currency, equipment status and availability automatically.

Availability & leave

On-call toggles, recurring unavailability and a leave chain that routes OIC → CUSM. The board reflects who can be tasked the moment state changes.

Training, qualifications & currency

Tri-state currency per category — current, expiring, lapsed — with a training-officer approval queue. Hours and expiry tracked against each role's requirement.

Equipment & defects

Asset register with QR-scanned inspection checklists, full inspection history and a live defect register. A grounded asset shows on the board, not in a binder.

Incidents & payments

Call-out roster, per-date hours and scene voice-notes — with the two independent approvals for attendance and payment, feeding currency and allowance runs.

Exercises & events

Volunteers raise Additional CGU exercises, officers approve and mark them complete, and post-exercise reports write approved training records back to every attendee.

Reporting & analytics

Incident analytics by status and month, plus pre-defined reports — user activity, defects, compliance — each exportable to CSV in one click.

Approvals & notifications

One queue for the leave and availability decisions awaiting your role, with in-app and native push alerts as records move through the chain.

Audit & access control

Role-scoped access enforced at the API, multi-factor sign-in, and an immutable audit trail — every state change and record view logged with actor and time.

Outcomes

From "let me check" to "go" — in seconds.

8
Modules, one login

Availability, training, equipment, incidents, exercises, reporting, approvals and audit — one operational system, not eight tools.

4
Currency categories, live

Shore, afloat, cliff and drone hours tracked against every volunteer's record and recomputed as reports are filed.

0
Spreadsheets & chat threads

Field returns from the mobile app replace the group chats, the shared sheets and the paper currency logs.

Every figure above reflects the shipped product, not a projection. What varies per tenant is your readiness model, roles and reference data.

Who it's for

One platform. Every organisation runs its own.

Each organisation gets its own tenant — its crest, its units and sectors, its roles and reference data. Role scope decides what you see: an officer sees their unit, a sector manager their sector, a national manager every unit.

The one thing that never changes between tenants is the safety status system — current, expiring, lapsed — because readiness means the same thing everywhere.

Security posture

Built for organisations that are held to account.

Role-scoped access enforced at the API, multi-factor sign-in, an immutable audit trail and EEA hosting aligned to ISO 27001 controls.
